The reason I take photos and create art from them is because I see and experience the world in a different world way than most people yet still pull deeply on the emotional feelings of the viewer. It is also my hope that as part of my being a photo-artist to help people of service to their community which may include: veterans, police, firemen, EMTs and teachers.

My passion for taking photos started when I was 4, possibly younger. After graduating college, I purchased my first 35mm camera. My first mentors told me, "If I want to get to be good at this I should shoot and shoot and shoot!"

Composition I learned is innate. In our mind’s eye we see things the way we want them to be, not necessarily how they are. It was during the last 30 plus years that I had to learn to take what was in front of me and turn it into art. It was this ability that afforded me the role of Director of Photography for three small production movies.

I have photographed a number of music legends and up and coming artists to date, while Nature and Landscape Photography quiet my mind and center my focus, from these photos I create my art.

My work has been in over thirty art shows of which about a third were solo shows. I have also been listed with Marquis Who's Who as an Industry Leader in 2022, Who's Who in America in 2023 and Who's Who in the World 2024. I attended Art Basel - Miami Art Week (December 2022 & 2023) and the NY Art Expo (2023 & 2024) and Art-San Diego (November 2023) as an exhibitor.

I will be having my first solo show in Florida since moving here in May and will be a featured artist in Galeria Azur in Miami at the same time.

It was an absolute pleasure and honor to be a part of this year’s Art Basel - Miami with The Redwood Art Gallery also this year's NY Art Expo.
